This needs to be shouted from the rooftops.
A catastrophic failure of US journalism and politics is that something like Biden's 10-year, $3.5 trillion infrastructure bill is not called a $350 billion annual bill...but the Pentagon's budget, which will exceed $7.5 trillion over a decade, is called a $750 billion annual bill

Sure, it’s a gross error. But remember: the money in the defense budget really goes to literally millions of employees working in factories to make the stuff. They vote for representatives who will vote the $$ so they can keep their jobs. Biden’s bill is new; no constituency yet.

When the military brass says they don’t need a new fancier tank, but Congress votes the money for it anyway, clearly it’s not really for the military; it’s for the defense contractors to stay in business. We even sent tanks to Egypt who didn’t need them, called it “foreign aid.”

Psst...the "infrastructure" bill isn't about improving America's roads or combating climate change--it is about accelerating climate catastrophe so the fossil fuel and privatized bottled water industry can capitalize on forced scarcity.

Which countries do you want the US to stop protecting first? Which soldier do you want to receive substandard training and equipment first? Which state do you want attacked first since our borders are open and you seem to want a skeleton military unable to defend us?

More evidence that this was never intended to pass. It’s all theatre orchestrated by our corporate overlords 😭

AOC has also called out: in the press, all Democratic spending bills are always billed in ten-year-terms, while Republican bills are addressed at annual costs.

Two time Bernie voter, donater to your campaign. Me and 5 other friends would all vote for TRUMP over Biden at this point for one reason: Dystopian vaccine passports/show me your papers. Not one progressive has had the courage to speak against them. AND IM VACCINATED.
