$778B Pentagon budget for ONE YEAR. Yet many in Congress act as though $4.5T total over the next few years is too much to spend to fix the damage caused by years of neglecting our people, infrastructure and real security. Even after Iraq and Afghanistan the corruption continues.

stop flooding the country with randoms, and maybe i would agree… now the same people you say have been neglected are being fucked the most by thousands of unskilled, people of burden.
4.5 trillion over 10 years! Sounds like a bargain to me.

You mean over next 10 years (term of the proposed spending bills). So it's $778B vs. $455B a year. (The difference is they won't raise taxes to pay for the $778 but will have to for the $455, so that's why there's so much opposition from Repubicans & corporate wing of Democrats

The argument that it is "too much to pay" is a specious argument because these bills include "payfors", which are designed to tax the rich and the wealthy, to pay for provisions in these bills.

Don't forget the $4.5T will get paid in 10 years. When will the trillions for war get paid? Never

Fast-forward to Marianne voting for another one of those warmongers.
