Why do we have war games but not peace games? Imagine if we had a Pentagon of Peace. Waging peace takes specific skills, no differently than waging war. Imagine if we funded things that lead to peace the way we fund the things that lead to war. mariannewilliamson.substack.…

This is probably what the people in DARPA actually think they are doing. It’s just that their narrow path to peace is infinitely strange & destructive… but of course, necessary.

Money. Rich people get richer from war. Cold War, Simulated War, Drone Strikes, Ground War, Naval War. As long as only poor people are made poorer, burned away, blown up, maimed, tortured, killed the U.S. is in love with War.

"For one thing is very obvious to the most discerning observer, whether we’re talking about the state of our democracy, the state of our planet, the inequity of our economy, or our endless war machine: what we’re doing now isn’t working." Peace is more valuable than destruction.

How about a law that requires 10% of DoD budget and weapon sales to other countries must be given to a department of peace?

Imagine actively listening to others talking about peace, and how we get there. Not impossible, but we must stop the lies, such as "we're no longer at war" or "we're the shining light on the hill" - it's to corrosive to continue to let those things go unanswered.

You mean like China - peaceful takeover 😑. Nothing to worry about, we are friends, we just wanna your land, your natural resources, and your home.
