US UK invasion of Iraq and Afghanistan cost 2.8 million Muslim lives. That is a clear genocide and a war crime in the full nazi sense. US UK need to pay reparations. Instead they are lecturing Muslims on womens rights and the etiquettes of democracy. #AIreparations
“The liberals within Kabul are face to face with the conservative radical Taliban and there’s no other option-there’s no opting out. There is co-existing or going to war again.” Obaidullah Baheer

The next step in the process is to arm the opposition to the Taliban by the US military/govt to foster a civil war. When the country slips into complete chaos (far more than currently) everyone will go "u see what happened when we pulled out? we did well uniting that country!"
His purpose in staying is to encourage the Taliban to soften their stance on women and encourage a right functioning government … However ... he expects little change from the Taliban … It sounds as if he will actually accomplish very little … great conversation … Thank You!

Well, to be fair, Ms. Williamson, I think Americans, as shockingly dense as many of us apparently are, have shifted enough on this that another misadventure of this sort would be a very hard sell. I know, we said that after Vietnam. Still, this one really drove it home ( I hope).
Very enlightening interview as always
