What we need is to subsidize medical school based on aptitude not ability to pay. Increasing the amount of patients without increasing the supply of physicians will lead to diminished level of care. Ethically everyone should be covered no matter what though

No, it’s why we need a free market in healthcare. It’s amazing that no one is curious why medical care costs are skyrocketing but something like food prices aren’t. Might it be because the healthcare industry is one of the most heavily regulated?
