Alaska now officially rationing emergency medical care amid latest Delta surge. Other states sure to follow. Our health care system was unprepared for such an emergency, while we spent over $4T on imperialistic wars. #MedicareForAll #StopTheWarMachine

It's not just that, the new mayor of Anchorage is a neonazi. They just uncovered a glowing essay he wrote a couple years ago about Hitler, he's explicit. He's part of a group that harrasses the municipal assembly too. So they won't let anybody mandate masks etc

I鈥檝e stopped giving donations because the Dems have the power but they鈥檙e not exercising it. Playing nice in the sandbox seems to be their mantra. Maybe if I saw some meaningful action, I might turn the (modest) spigot back on.

I wouldn鈥檛 postulate other states are sure to follow. Why add to that stream of consciousness.

R's opposed ACA by raising the specter of "death panels" from rationing of care. It never happened until now. R governors are enacting Crisis Standards of Care, not because of ACA, but because their hospitals are overwhelmed by their refusal to enact mask and vaccine mandates.

Your right Mary and every single member of congress sat on their hands & watched it happen , even now at the precipice congress still won鈥檛 do what鈥檚 necessary with all its power to beat this , they鈥檙e all too busy fighting over who gets how much money & what to invest in
