The only reason Manchin has significant influence is because he may very well be the only electable Dem in WVA. The moderates still support him. He frustrates the most-left but they even realize he's better than losing a Senate seat. AOC could NOT win in WVA. That's reality.

Um... what exactly do you think voting out Joe in a +40R state is going to do? The replacement will be someone to the right of Joe. Or do you think he'll be replaced with an AOC type candidate?

Joe Manchin is the designated 'villain a role assigned to him by the REAL Oligarchs of the Democratic Party. They had NO intention whatsoever to carry through on Biden's hollow promises. Manchin will win the fight is "fixed."

Manchin is a corporate Democrat, w/ broad support from the coal, oil, & gas lobbies. Plus, he has broad appeal from W. Virginia working class voters. W. VA activists will have no effect. It's bloody Joe Biden that needs to twist his arm, and he won't. Manchin is Biden's foil.
