I don’t mean to be disrespectful but this has got to stop. Neither the Iraq nor Afghanistan Wars were signs of American leadership; they were military imperialism, and if our leaders won’t say so then we need to say so ourselves.
As time marches forward, it's our responsibility to remember, and to teach, and to listen to the stories of our teammates. We can't know what challenges the next 20 years will bring, but we do know this: America will always lead. #WeRemember911

There will always be a contest for political domination on the world stage. Pax Americana has had its terrible chapters, but I'll take it over the 20th century alternatives of Fascism or Communism. We will see what the future brings, but a lot of countries still look to us.

The wealthy elites, especially brutal dictators, look to Washington for support and direction.

And millions across the world yearn to live in a country, while deeply flawed, still allows open debate and is filled with opportunity for a better life.
