Isn't it rather simplistic to characterize a counter attack by people from a region we have occupied for 50 years & kill millions as "evil"? Was Hiroshima & Nagasaki evil? Was Korea (2 million) & Vietnam (3.8million) evil two countries that never attacked us? Afghanistan?

The most definitive characteristic of America is war. Violence-Genocide-Ecocide-Slavery-Colonization-Empire. Americans got their/our collective face slapped on 9/11, wondered why, then got on w/business as usual. The US massacres daily & dines on the souls of innocents nightly.

~3k people died on 9/11…so in response we spent 20 years killing 241k people, including an estimated 71k innocent civilians. It’s time to stop pretending that we, as a nation, are the aggrieved.

I would say dropping 2,000 lb MOABs on a country that was no threat to the US was just as evil as the hijackers crashing planes into buildings. And the torture we performed at Abu Ghraib was the proverbial "icing on the cake."
