Republicans have the elitist policies but ironically a more egalitarian relationship to its own constituency. Democrats have more egalitarian policies but an oddly more elitist relationship to its constituency.

this is completely wrong, Republicans almost never carry out the wishes of their base. Republicans only have the appearance of a relationship with their base, that's the only reason people vote for them

"Democrats have more egalitarian policies." Where? They just kicked off workers off employment and didn't care about the issues with rent.

I guess massive transfers of wealth from the people to major corporations through Democrat sponsored lockdown and restrictive policies isn’t elitist enough for you?

Democrats are in control of government right now and none of those so-called egalitarian policies will see the light of day. Then they'll lose in 2022 and 2024.
