Capitalism could work if legislation were not for sale and effective regulation was a goal. Until the Political process adjusts to serve people instead of party any system is doomed to abuse.

the problem with capitalism is precisely that people keep trying to fix it. it's such a shit show now because politicians and corporations have spent the last 100+ years, starting w/ the progressive era, trying to mold the economy to suit their interests.
