We should honor labor every day, not just once a year. I hope this year continues to be one in which a new generation discovers the importance of the labor movement in providing a better life for themselves and their children. mariannewilliamson.substack.…

Since the Reagan years big business has tired to brand Labor as a limit on inovation ... and they did a good job ... However, if you compare Europe to the US ... you will see that we lag far behind them in terms of benefits including family leave and workers rights.

ENDING OUR WAR OF TERROR FOR DAILY COMMERCE IS THE BEST WAY TO HONOR LABOR AND HUMAN DIGNITY AND VIRTUE EVERY DAY OF THE YEAR: PUT THE $$$ AND LABOR INTO WATER AND HOUSING NOT GENOCIDE AND ENVIRONMENTAL SUICIDE🙂

Ironic he would choose to call it breathing room when labor laws are literally causing people to die from COVID.

Yes, doing things just for money is not service. Doing things as a service, not expecting rewards. is the way to go. Of course, workers work to make a living and they should be treated with respect, and always fairly. The problem is unbridled greed, big money's problem

The President's statement that we just need a little breathing room shows how out of touch he is. We need to breathe 365 days a year, not just one.

Lots of jobs going unfilled. Help wanted signs everywhere. Although I supported government assistance now that it has stopped I'm pretty sure those signs are going to go away.

Beyond disappointing that people like you and other progressives have said NOTHING about VACCINE PASSPORTS. Do you not see something deeply troubling about having to show medical paperwork to eat eggs at a diner? And 35% of NYC segregated out of society?! This is wrong, speak up.

We should honor it on May First and overthrow capitalism.
