If Republicans were in charge and they were in this situation, they absolutely would get rid of the filibuster and pack the court. One party seems intent on undermining our democracy, and the other seems unwilling or unable to stop them.

All of the DNC leadership got richer under Trump. All of the DNC leadership is getting richer under Biden. Because that's the system they designed with the GOP. It's not just corporations that have gotten wealthier off the pandemic. So why would they change anything?

They have been in this position before and the didn’t do any of those things probably for the same reasons many of the (smart) Democrats aren’t. The smarter members of both parties the problem with short term gains vs the long term costs. I’m glad they’re not listening to you.
