Restrictive abortion laws like the one just passed in Texas will not lower the rate of abortions. It will simply mean rich women get safe abortions while poor women will go back to the days of unsafe, dangerous, sometimes even fatal procedures.

Maybe there will be some increase of unsafe abortions but that is once again the choice of the mother, as was getting pregnant. At least now many babies who didnt have a choice wont be killed.

Its a good day for democracy and humanity, but it’s not enough. Overturn or states should ignore Roe v Wade!

Banning abortion would be about as effective as the drug war is. Black markets exist

Or maybe engaging in sex responsibly, those 46% should not be using murder as their birth control.

Texas Republicans want more unwanted children to grow up and become either unmourned cannon fodder OR have fun executing them, sometimes by police in the streets!
This is an old trope with no evidence to support it. Restrictions will almost certainly lower the abortion rate. Why are you so motivated to see the unborn children of poor women killed?
and for some, that I treat, they will have their own father's child
