Restrictive abortion laws like the one just passed in Texas will not lower the rate of abortions. It will simply mean rich women get safe abortions while poor women will go back to the days of unsafe, dangerous, sometimes even fatal procedures.

And why should that bother me at all? In any other case, first degree murder carries a capital punishment. Why should this be any different?

Any man who irresponsibly got a woman pregnant and performing abortion should be SEVERELY PUNISHED. Perhaps that will help lower the need for abortions. Men should be held accountable.
Are contraceptives, Plan B, sexual education, sexual counseling services, etc. unavailable in Texas? Asking for a friend.

Really love how states like Texas want to get rid of abortion instead of address an issue like poverty that actually has a damning effect on how many abortions are performed.
