And if you had a UBI of $2,000/month, even with a min. wage of $15/hour, folks would have an income that would give them stability & hope for the future. End forever wars to pay for it.

Once worked as a temp in a WAG call center. They docked me a day when a blizzard snowed my door shut. Corporations are not your friend. They are amoral creations designed only to make money. We will need to fight for everything that is rightly ours tooth and nail.

Ok, so eli5, but what does “from October” mean? People who have been working there since October? Effective start date? Phase in start date? I read the article and it mentioned a phase in, but I’m still confused.
