Mainstream news reporters attend briefings by State Department, White House and Pentagon spokespeople and then report it like it’s news. That’s not news, guys!! It’s basically state run TV.

Source journalism, access journalism, whatever you call it, is not journalism. It’s stenography. They seek connections to get access to politicians to get their “stories.” Then they hop the fence to become media/public relations consultants, and over and over again. It’s a grift.
