Given that we were wrong & we lost in Vietnam, we were wrong & we lost in Iraq, and we were wrong & we lost in Afghanistan, what will it take to smash the illusion that an unholy alliance with the military industrial complex & a $780 billion defense budget is anything but a scam?

The traditional model is still present in many areas but new structures are challenging this. Women in positions of influence, $btc, #DEI, #electrification, & to your Q, awareness that lobbying & profiteering in Gov have no place. Slow but steady to the tipping point.

Absolutely you are so right. What will it take for America to wake up. I blame corporate media for it’s smoke screens and half told truths! It is all about money and corporate profits over humanity. That is called killing ourselves & the planet.

The GOP War Machine has always taken the stance that War is good for our economy...imagine that...uncontrolled expense spending with NO oversight . Econ 101 even taught same thing in college in 1978. Sigh...Spend the money on infrastructure, housing and healthcare, homeless

When we accept our current political system that allows bribes from lobbyists is an unholy corrupt machine that pays the very people that would need to make the laws to stop it. It’s so Apparent both sides do it and pretend they don’t and idiots eat it up. That’s a start
