I know it wasn't a reason to stay. It's true that I had a reactive emotional moment agreeing with BK. Still heartbroken about the situation but that tweet was wrong. I know better.

If I may be so bold as to suggest this, I take you as one who has transcended personal ego but is still figuring out the political/national ego. I trust you are coming from a good place and don't claim to have the answers, but I've seen the manipulation of those with good hearts.

Why can't all bad takes end up like this? Thank you for acknowledging it and owning the bad tweet. So many other people would have just doubled down and blocked all of us. It happens all of the time. Thanks again.

Appreciate it very much Marianne, we should always be aware of imperialists tricks. They have a lot of them

Wait... what?.... someone in politics honestly owned up to a mistake? Am I dreaming? Or am I dead? Wow! ๐Ÿ˜‚

Thank you for this. Your tweet made me sad. The US govt doesnโ€™t care about human rights ever-anywhere in the world. Anyone looking at their policies anywhere in the world (including the US) will find an ulterior motive (money) every time.

well done m. williamson. thanks for correcting yourself publicly on this issue of โ€œwar feminismโ€, that rationalizes and normalizes military intervention and occupation everywhere. Letโ€™s put an end to the narrative of the u.s. military saving desperate foreigners. Forever.
