I know it wasn't a reason to stay. It's true that I had a reactive emotional moment agreeing with BK. Still heartbroken about the situation but that tweet was wrong. I know better.

Credit where due for admitting it.

The fact that you have the integrity to admit a mistake & move on puts you light years ahead of your critics. Personally, I understand your empathy & compassion toward the plight of the women & girls abandoned in Afghanistan.

Thanks for owning that. My dad, both grandfathers, some great-grandfathers, etc. were military. Was raised to buy into all of this pro-war 💩. Hell, if I still got my news from @CNN etc. I still might.🙄 Powers that be do a great job selling folks on these endless wars.💯✌️

Caring about & wanting to help women in Afghanistan (or any marginalized group anywhere) is normal/human, but believing that bombing/invading/occupying foreign nations is somehow the solution is jingoistic, neocolonialist/imperialist madness.

Thank you for taking the time to evaluate and take criticism well. This is how we grow as humans.
How many times are we supposed to fall for this? First Palestinians, now this. You only apologize after you lose followers.
Are you still discriminating against based on their gender and age?
Next time you know better than to trust Burger King
