They need you to think that the real horror is a messy exit rather than the hundreds of thousands of lives lost and two trillion dollars spent to make war profiteers billions and rebuild the Taliban.

You're right it's both but the two are many magnitudes different in importance.

There’s no graceful exit for a war you just lost. The Taliban was going to move in the second we left. They’re actually being cooperative letting foreign nationals get out anyway so it’s not even worst case

i am with @marwilliamson on this one ... THIS IS NOT me saying we need to go back in ... hell I wrote in @TulsiGabbard for many reason ...her foreign policy being a big one ... but both can be horrible, really... people dont have to pick one

Yes its both . But certain media specially independent ones loves to be contrarion . It doesnt have to be this or that always. Afghans have been left to dogs . US force was anyways minimal. Arent they running their bases in like 100 odd countries already.
