They need you to think that the real horror is a messy exit rather than the hundreds of thousands of lives lost and two trillion dollars spent to make war profiteers billions and rebuild the Taliban.

Im a vet of that war. I’m disturbed by the la know empathy regarding the fate that awaits women n girls in Afghanistan. The reports of the Taliban are true. These are evil ppl. Truly evil.
They should renamed you BoTh Sides Crystal
One is a 10,000 fold worse than the other. The US rapid exit will reduce the number of women and children suffering violent deaths from death squads, drone strikes, bombing and US special operations. Isn’t that what you want? Less death for women & children?

the fact that u think it's both ensures americans will line up behind the president for the military adventure abroad. perhaps u can get it right this time.
Afghanistan is not the only country where women are treated poorly. Should the US invade and occupy the dozen or so other worst offending countries on women's rights, including all of India and Indonesia???

Exactly it is both. The fact that corrupt media are using propaganda to satisfy their own interests DOESN'T mean that the withdrawal was organised and humane. I can't understand why people can't acknowledge both these issues at the same time.

It’s not both- exiting was correct

The exit was inevitable while the war profiteers are a blight on the world and responsible for not just the deaths through war but as the largest contributors to our climate crisis. Our world is burning in multiple ways and war profiteers are to blame. Do not conflate the two.

Too bad they don't fixate on both.
