You could say the same about pretty much every US business - we sell/profit on harm whether sugar, opioids, monopolies, or war.

The Afghan President who escaped with nearly $160M in cash - if he's 'allowed' to keep this, without any fallout - feels like one big insult to all of us.

Yes it is, and it has been normalized in the USA for far too long. The Military Industrial Complex is real, and it owns our government and large swaths of the citizenry.
Defense stocks during the Afghanistan War: Lockheed Martin: 1,236% return Northrop Grumman: 1,196% return Boeing: 975% return General Dynamics: 625% return Raytheon: 331% return The military-industrial complex got exactly what it wanted out of this war.

It's especially an industry for our 'intelligence' agencies, whose leaders get to make shit up out of thin air to benefit companies that they and their friends either control completely, are on the boards of directors of, or at the very least have major stock in. And/or be on CNN

Just asking if you believe weapon manufacturing should be a non profit or an industry to be swallowed up by the government.
