I understand those who think we should have left. I also understand some of those who think we should’ve stayed. What I cannot comprehend is anyone minimizing or glossing over the abject terror of 20 million women.

That terror began in 1979 with US/CIA, I cannot comprehend anyone minimizing or glossing over who funded and armed Taliban.

How could the US military help anyone, especially women? I mean this seriously.

"the abject terror of 20 million woman" is plain and simply imperial propaganda.

dear sister, our govt are the people glossing over (if not worsening) these atrocities. Their involvement in sanctions and war in our names is never about protecting people elsewhere and always about enriching a small number of people here while ruining or ending lives there

What I cannot comprehend is anyone who actually believes that US troops were ever there to protect ANYthing/one than bizniz interests and did a whole lotta terrorizing of Afghans in the process. Esp the mercenaries who came with them.

Many, perhaps most, women in #Afghanistan reject the Taliban AND the foreign military occupation AND the Afghan govt of warlords & druglords who the foreign militaries prop up. How about you listen to them instead of listening to imperialist propaganda? youtube.com/watch?v=DdIOviCv…
