Actually, they got mad when she agreed with a Kristol tweet that defended the status quo in Afghanistan. Now the narrative has changed, making it abt protecting refugees, which is a different discussion.

@marwilliamson needs to apologize for agreeing with Bush War Hawk Bill Kristol, it was a horrible take and she knew it, she knew it enough to change the narrative, and then she never apologized for her original tweet. It was elitist arrogance on high.

If anyone “should apologize,” it’s those who so cavalierly dismiss as less important the extraordinary systemic violence against women that will now be the prevailing reality for 20 million women. I do not apologize for my ambivalence. Compassion is the most radical stance of all

Marianne, you would have kept us in that hell hole forever, why don't you just admit that you were going right along with Bush fanboy Bill Kristol? You want to help 20 million women start talking about in earnest what Israel is doing to 20 million Palestinian women?

But you didn't just speak with compassion or ambivalence, you tweeted your position quite cavalierly in agreement with keeping the status quo in Afghanistan.

Ask your buddy Bill Kristol about this.
