My wording in a tweet was stupid, but only because I was hurriedly responding to activists begging for public pressure on the president. My choice of words was wrong but my heart was not. I can sleep fine tonight despite the mockery.

I totally stand by what my tweet was saying. We needed public pressure on Biden to get him to send planes to evacuate more women. You might not think that’s “intelligent;” I do.
