The president made the decision to withdraw, which means handing back the sovereignty. It would be hard for us to have say after we leave. Afghan/Taliban are now all mixed, we cannot tell which one is which. Afghani's played along for two decades, now they back to their culture.

How about Saudi Arabia?

This issue certainly isn't anything new for you ... However ... It seems to be a big surprise for Biden ... I think he's missing some intellectual capacity ... And ... I recently heard that some Taliban are drugging girls and selling them!

In the end it translates to the American taxpayers are solely responsible for paying inflated prices for sub optimal bodyguards to protect people around the world. Or is this only an issue for resource rich countries.

I disagree with Marianne here, no country intervene in America when Americans were fighting for their women鈥檚 rights. Let them determine their freedom

This is not an issue with the Taliban. It's an issue with that whole area. We've sent soldiers home who tried to breakup human rights abuses among our own Afghani allies. We allowed it for 20 years. Now it's a front & center story of the tragedy of our leaving.
Afghani women or Afghani progressives have to fight their fight, in their own way. There is no easy way. US exit could have been graceful but It was never US's fight. That's the sad truth.
