Tell me again how this woman’s suffering doesn’t matter.
Incredibly powerful interview with @sahraakarimi in Afghanistan this morning on @BBCRadioScot - I've taken this excerpt below because it is so brutally honest and from the heart, but please do go listen to the whole thing. @Fionasstalker

What about the women Joe Biden and the Democrats routinely bomb? Or the women they lock up in cages at the border? Or the women being starved by brutal sanctions? Or the women forced to work w/o healthcare or a living wage during a pandemic? Does their suffering matter???

No one said suffering abroad doesn't matter. We're saying, you can't fix it with the same entities and actions that caused most of it. Holy fuck, you can't be this dense!

I’m a 22-year-old woman and I know that the Taliban are forcing families to give their daughters as wives for their fighters theguardian.com/global-devel…

The US puppet government never had popular support. The speed of the Taliban takeover proves that. This is the government Afghans want. If the US cared about women's rights, they wouldn't have created the Taliban & used them to takedown the USSR. The Taliban is a US Frankenstein.

so the us military— an institution rife with command rape— is supposed to help improve this situation, right?

You rich people with your superiority complexes. Give it a rest. What if you'd have become president? Every time you heard of someone being mistreated around the globe, you'd send in the US military to bomb the hell out of the country it was happening in?

She does matter. And it's a goddam shame that US has meddled in her country and region of the world until we destabilized it all and extreme religion took over. Bombing the hell out of them another 20 years will not change that.
