At least acknowledge the moral complexity of the situation. The United States has been doing a lot about it for 20 years. That’s not even to say we should continue, but let’s stop pretending OK?

@marwilliamson I believe you have good intentions, but you're so deeply misguided here... of course it matters, so does the life of Saudi women; why aren't we invading Saudi Arabia then? If you can answer this, then I'd be open to admit I'm wrong. Otherwise, war isn't the answer

Of course it matters, but what happened to self determination. There are thousands of Afghan men who wore the Army uniform to get paid and as soon as the Taliban marched in they surrendered and why are they not defending their women and daughters?
