Tolerance of systemic violence against women can’t be justified in the name of anti-imperialism, helping other human beings isn’t “a savior complex,” and leaving the most powerless & desperate people to fend for themselves in the hour of their agony isn’t political sophistication

Afghanis have been telling contemporary empires for more than a century to leave it alone. The British and Soviet empires effectively died in Afghanistan. Hopefully the US did not pull out too early to stave off the expiration of this exhausted empire.

Life isn't sunshine and rainbows. It's not any system's job to stand up for you. If you demand that someone else support you, subservience is the role you have built for yourself. Society didn't do that, you did.

First just a gentle reminder of the word Sovereignty means something to you all. Second, a gentle reminder of 20 years of propaganda for democracy and feminism. Third, another gentle reminder of the real crusade for oil and money. Thanks.

I can be quite slow on the uptake sometimes & therefore I am confused here, but are you talking about re-invading & continuing to take part in airstrikes against people in Afghanistan or are you talking about our continued support of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia?

Tell that to the twice impeached one term disgraced Cheeto who hosted the Taliban at Camp David and made this deal.

Helping other people is a savior complex when you yourself are drowning. And the United States is drowning in its own hypocrisy.

There's gonna be a lot more places to invade with our next $6,000,000,000,000, if that's really the reason you think we spent 20 years in that small nation, while achieving nothing that couldn't be undone in a week.

$2 trillion, a couple thousand American lives, tens of thousands Afghani's killed but hey, if it helps feminism or gay rights let's do it!

Ok, you have changed my mind. We should just start completely over and see how the next 20 years go! Absolutely it'll work this time!
