I understand the argument that 20 yrs was enough & it was time to leave Afghanistan. That's the president's call. But the exit should have been done with far more care & w/ far more safety provided for those who had helped us. @POTUS can still make this right and he must #ACTNOW!

I agree. 20 years with nothing to show for our investment of big bucks, training, & lost lives. Afghans used us & have fled tail tucked. We should’ve airlifted out what very few allies we actually had. May the women find their backbone & standup to their men.
He will take action! If said action helps private contractors, weapons manufacturers, oil companies etc. 90% of drone deaths are civilians. The USA has been fueling the Taliban all along and now we just gave them one hell of an Arsenal. End war by ending corruption.
This was literally how it was always going to end, the question was how many more years are we going to spend enriching military contractors.

No matter how the US exits Afghanistan, the Taliban was going to take over.
Don't you get it, Marianne? America does nothing with care with the exception of bailing out, and using our tax dollars to subsidize, corporations; and stealing other countries' resources. Do no more harm. Get out of Afghanistan. Get out of everywhere. Fix THIS country.

😂😂 What a joke. Dementia Joe is on vacation for two weeks after working only 1/2 days at best.
You go ahead and go yourself. Go open up a new torture center, go bomb another wedding, go slit the thoats of toddlers like Robert Bales, go kill someone three just so you can take home an human ear. Go to hell Marianne.

Like a friend can come from leaving but imagine what really stays from our privilege, a collapsing reflection...
