I understand the argument that 20 yrs was enough & it was time to leave Afghanistan. That's the president's call. But the exit should have been done with far more care & w/ far more safety provided for those who had helped us. @POTUS can still make this right and he must #ACTNOW!

We basically propped them up for 20 years only to kick the crutch out causing a massive vacuum to occur and making way for the Taliban to radically multiply. Seems like this administration has a knack for this 鈥ext up to gain strength, Isis!
I agree it should have been down more carefully, but maybe #PresidentBiden made the honest mistake of leaving that up to the Pentagon. I honestly don't think the White House is to blame for this fiasco. This smells like a CIA /Pentagon screw up.
It鈥檚 time for America to do the right thing. May soul force, ethics and humanitarian principles take the lead. #ActNow

"Act now"? It's too late. The US will be lucky to get it's own personnel out. The Taliban are hours away from chasing the Americans out of Kabul. This is a massive failure for the Biden admin.
The US had months to evacuate personnel from Afghanistan. Incredible they couldn't accomplish this basic task. The US military & Biden's State Dept. are comically inept.

Biden is lacking compassion and empathy on many fronts as far as I can see. He can't "see" or "hear" the suffering in our own country. Was there ANY thought to the people of Afghanistan?
What about Trump trying to overthrow the government?

I'm glad to see you express your disappointment with your president. Too many of your media peers don't want to say it. But Biden and his team really have blundered the withdrawal.
The invasion and occupation of Afghanistan was never motivated by concern for the well being of Afghans. Why expect the departure to be different?

This Afghanistan thing has a lot of people outing themselves as believers in benevolent imperialism.
