There are no simple solutions. We鈥檝e been there 20 years. Taliban is a macho male cult. Just like no simple solutions to trump cult, evangelical cult & Q cult. How do all these people get healed; to use their energies for positive results.
Can military solve any of this?

There鈥檚 a difference between anti-imperialism and isolationism. Talking about Afghanistan in simple terms of whether we stay or go is not the point. The point is how we spent our time there, and how we leave in a way that helps the most amount of people survive the change.

The Taliban are not some unstoppable military juggernaut, the reason they've taken most of the country in a month is because the people support them and hate the US puppet government. It's pretty simple.

Yes we should! But there were tens of thousands of people who helped us as interpreters etc. and apparently the exit was not planned well enough to make it happen. That鈥檚 why they鈥檙e scrambling now. Apparently they thought they had more time.
