20 years, thousands dead, almost $1T spent & the Taliban is able to overrun the country in a matter of weeks. Women will be as endangered there now as they were before 911. This is a major catastrophe. There must be another way. theatlantic.com/ideas/archiv…

No one has said they did. The issue was Al-Qaeda and their bases there.

I’m so glad you care about Al Qaeda’s bases. You can start then by invading Langley since that’s where their money and training came from.

The last known report was that there was less then 100 Al-Qaeda members in Afghanistan! Taliban has there for 40+ years. May of 2012 our special forces killed binladen, soooooo get the fuck out of the middle east period!!!!! The war on terror was the biggest mistake!!

I believe the point may be, as a nation we need to remove the logs in our own eye first. All of us need to seek the Truth, turn from hate. How can we fight a righteous war in another nation until we have defeated unrighteousness in this nation? It will not work, stop insanity.
It's mistake to let self help book gurus and reality show hosts think they can be president just because their money means few people tell them 'No'

Do you not think that reason was a cover for another? I.e., resource theft?

Oh you mean the same Al-Qaeda that was created and funded by the CIA? 🤣

No, the issue was control over the poppy/opium trade. The excuse was a couple al qaeda bases.
