When did our country building ever go well? Oh, that's right - it went well for the military industrial cartel, suffering of the populace be damned. The US has blood on it's hands all over the world, but the rich got richer.

The company that I trained was capable of independent operations, the Battalion (Kandak) was pretty good, but the Brigade (General Officer level) was a corrupt shit-show that was enriching itself by selling its supplies. They had 20 years to dig in like a tick and chose greed.
