Vietnam, Iraq, now Afghanistan. Tragedies beyond comprehension, all of them moral & military failures. Yet we continue to elect the same breed of people & acquiesce to what is now over $750B/yr in military spending. Let’s stop the false respect for all the warmongers in our midst

the dnc chose a lifelong hawk, disguised as a democrat. “there’s republicans and there’s democrats, they’re just two men wearing the same hat.”

Congress keeps feeding the war machine as our domestic quality of life declines. #AfghanLivesMatter

Yesterday somebody posted a beautiful Tweet, something along the lines: "It would've been the same if the troops came home 15 years ago, or 15 years from now". Exactly! The money makers willing to sacrifice soldiers to keep the money rolling.

Vietnam was a war crime. We killed 3.8 million men, women & children in the most horrific ways imaginable because we said they chose the wrong economic system (socialism/communism), but it was really to restore a French colony.

20 years of war is enough. USA spent 20 years, billions of $$ and cost thousands of lives training them to defend themselves. Time for them to fend for themselves.

I’m glad you didn’t call it defense spending but instead military spending. There’s very little about defense that requires $750 billion. It’s occupations, exploitation and enriching contractors that then in donate to those who authorize this.
