I've been thinking... These folks want to crucify me for my 2020 Cuomo tweet, very similar to how Jesus Christ was crucified on a cross. The only difference is that there's no cross involved with me (not yet at least). Anyone else seeing any similarities?

Replying to @EmmaVigeland
I think the Jesus analogy takes it a bit far. But I do think your tweet made sense at the time and throwing it in your face now is absurd.

I know you're taking a lot of heat for this response, but I want to say that I will never understand why you keep trying so hard to engage in good faith with notoriously bad faith actors who consistently use their platform to punch down at actual left-wing activists & organizers

It's always been there ya'll we're just busy not listening and playing favourites.
Emma, you’re the Pharisee in this analogy 🤦🏾‍♂️
Dang it Marianne please just accept that Emma is the Messiah and let us move on.
At the time, people who weren't idiots knew it was a bad tweet, too. Considering her regularly awful takes, Emma should probably shut the fuck up and sit the fuck down, for once.
But we knew Cuomo was an abuser back then too...
