Regenerative agriculture increases productivity & carrying capacity of land. Reducing our footprint means destroying Earth less quickly. We can be good for Earth. Our potential for destruction is mirrored by our potential for regeneration. Humanity is key to regenerating Earth!

How about a Declaration of War (on climate change), we seem to be very good at that! Too bad the Military Industrial Complex can't profit from it (and in fact, hurts their profits) or else we would have declared war on it decades ago. ;)

The craziest thing in the past 15 years is how so many Democrats/progressives who are sincerely terrified about climate change could have supported Obama, Hillary, and now Biden when all three are quite clearly unwilling to treat the problem as an emergency.
