When all the votes were actually counted Al Gore had won the election in 2000. The Supreme Court basically stopped the Florida count and gave Bush the presidency. Had Gore won we would have started a needed war against climate change and not a tragic war against Saddam Hussein.

We need climate action NOW. We cannot rely on vague pledges with distant deadlines. We need concrete plans to phase out fossil fuels in the near term. As the scientists at the @IPCC_CH make clear: there is no time left to waste.

The only candidate in that race who would have tried to change things for the better is Ralph Nader, who literally ran in 2000 to warn us of what has in fact come to be in this country.

"Had Gore won" That is the only accurate thing in your tweet, but thanks for playing. You don't win Rice-a-Roni. You don't even win the crappy home version of our game. You are a complete loser.

Too bad gore wimped out and conceded the election

I don't see how bombing Iraq in the name of climate change is any better than doing it for fake WMDs.

Sorry Marianne Gore Lost, even the recount continued after the Supremes ruled showed he lost. He's a loser and now he makes crap up about the weather and has his marxist minions push it. None of his predictions have come true...he just makes new ones and has his Comrades push them

I actually think it more likely would have been both, but that's still better than our current situation
