The most important investment we can make is in the children of this country. That is exactly why we are going to make free pre-K for all working families a reality. That is exactly why we are going to finally join every other major country and guarantee paid family leave.

And we need more! We should have a cabinet level Department of Children and Youth. We should massively front end our resources in the direction of children, and every public school in America should a palace of culture, learning and the arts.
