It's not enough to say we're "against violence;" we have to stand for non-violence. Violence is more than overt physical attack. Psychological & emotional violence are also violence. Adults getting bullied on the Internet is as much a problem as kids getting bullied at school.

What can cause emotional distress is highly subjective. And this sort of thing can be used as a bulwark against criticism. I was bullied throughout school for my appearance, but I still cannot support suppression of speech.
