Einstein said we wouldn’t solve the problems of the world from the same level of thinking we were at when we created them. The evolution of our consciousness from a “me” focus to a “we” focus is the change that will unlock new possibilities for the world.

To get to that point, we are all going to have to hit rock-bottom, just like an addict or alcoholic, except in this case we are all addicted to ourselves. To gain any sort of humbleness we are going to have to crater first and be brought to our knees.

A "we" focus always and everywhere means: submit and sacrifice yourself to the powerful, who invariably masquerade as the representatives of "we." It means dehumanizing subservience to priests, lords, or oligarchs.

Tricky. It is a bit of both. Being too individualistic or too collective in thinking lead to imbalance and delusion.

Many years ago I had an opportunity to ask Economist @DeanBaker13 about the impact of REITs competing with individual home purchasers. He tho the REITs were beneficial. Apparently, they maintain minimum price level for homes. /1
