I just learned a new word for capitalism: "Corporate Communism."
Rep. @mtgreenee: "Corporate Communism destroys small businesses in America. [...] They destroy the small businesses and the corporations gain all the control and they can’t be defeated" (Video courtesy: "Firebrand" podcast)

@ggreenwald @AbbyMartin @aaronjmate @mtaibbi @kthalps I've heard of "Corporate Communism" before. I think Prof Chomsky said that. Corporate & bank debts have been "bailed" during the financial crisis of the past few decades while the average citizen hasn't been bailed out

She is dogwhitsling to fascists with that term. Like Goebells "theories" about Jews controlling both Marxism and capitalism
Accidentally...and in seemingly oblivious contradiction to her party. Definitely weird.

Depends how stupid you think these two are. Two options IMO: 1. They’re just bricks, and are actually concerned about capitalism. 2. They’re crazy like foxes and are tapping into legitimate populist antipathy towards capitalism, redirecting it into hatred towards socialism.

You gave me the term “politically homeless”. This made me listen to all sides. I came to realize that left & right divisions are just there to divide us. It is NOT left vs right It is us against the oligarchs
