In Fulton County eviction court today: tenant says he’s approved for rental assistance but payment hasn’t been made. Judge won’t reset case and gives him 10 minutes to check with case worker, who says payment may take 7-14 days. Landlord then asks for eviction. Judge approves.

Callous, cruel, cold and does not have interest of the people. 10-14 days should not determine if someone is able to keep their home.
