If your house was on fire would you take an incremental approach to putting it out?

"Well, no. But only if it's MY house."

When you say “fire” do you mean the little inconsequential smouldering when the house is fully ablaze? Please we cannot agree on simple facts. That just won’t do

And what if someone was burning your house on purpose? With your family inside? What would be the appropriate response then?

Honestly why would someone want a socialist service like a fire dept? Privatize fire departments now

I think the problem is admitting the house is on fire to begin with. We’re at that stage of denial. People only seeing smoke when there’s a roaring flame.

This can be taken literally as well, see Western fires.

If they’re making money off of it burning they think the money will save them. It won’t.

If the house is big enough and the actual destruction is slow enough and the actual flames generate a very handsome monthly revenue stream... I could see myself taking an incremental approach--especially if my for-profit Free Press continually tells me everything is just fine.💩

What even is this? If you’re still talking about voting for Biden then that’s more like throwing gasoline and gunpowder on the fire and pulling up a chair in the kitchen to have coffee while it burns down and incinerates you.
