As long as economics is our bottom line we will continue to destroy the environment, build more nuclear bombs and systematically hoard wealth in the hands of a few. It’s not naive to choose love instead. What’s naive is to think we will survive another hundred years if we do not.

You’re right. Now the issue is whether we will face that probability with complacency/fear/paralysis/and denial or with inspiration/faith/creativity/genius and love.
