As long as economics is our bottom line we will continue to destroy the environment, build more nuclear bombs and systematically hoard wealth in the hands of a few. It’s not naive to choose love instead. What’s naive is to think we will survive another hundred years if we do not.

In 1969 Man walked on the moon (Yes really) & we thought 2000 would look like the Jetsons. Today, it looks like 2050 will be more like the Stone Age

You’re right. Now the issue is whether we will face that probability with complacency/fear/paralysis/and denial or with inspiration/faith/creativity/genius and love.

Economics doesn't have to be a zero-sum game. @StephanieKelton explains this in The Deficit Myth. Highly recommend

We need your voice please speak up!!! I am currently at the #StopLine3 protest. We are being attacked by violent oil mercenaries & facing a complete media blackout. Take action, stand up! Our Planet & Future is worth saving. #WaterIsLife #ClimateCrisis
Indigenous people in Minnesota get arrested for protesting the Line 3 pipeline at Red Lake Treaty Camp. This land belongs to the Indigenous people and the Line 3 pipeline will have serious long term effects on the environment. #StopLine3 Nothing has fundamentally changed!

It's not that its the bottom line, rather you literally cant escape its grasp. Allocation of scarce resources has to be grappled with But delegating all economic power to a government-crony corporatist regime is NOT working out Need to sever the ties between state and economy

Thinking economics is the root cause instead of recognizing that a small group of megalomaniacal liars and thieves being in charge of literally fking everything is actually the problem is not a good take.

Economics is just energy that could be used for expansion or construction. It starts with us!
