.@Simone_Biles had a double triumph at the Olympics, first by telling and honoring her own psychological truth and second by getting back up and going out there and showing what she’s made of. Double bravo.

Excellent, she finished third going in as the favorite. She managed to NOT set the record for all time medals, despite an expectation of smashing the record. She took spots away from other team members by doing this during the competition. A "participation trophy" is not heroic!
A tribute to the American spirit!

Our society is based on competitiveness. This competitiveness is growing in pressure through all careers. It is not healthy for the human mind. The push to be great, rich, and famous completely distorts our nature. (Get to the root Marianne.) youtube.com/ythOLteROK0
Yes ... she's a great ... Role Model ... for everyone!
Meh. This idea of "prioritizing yourself" when your team is counting on you or when you took a spot from someone else is BS. If she had physically injured herself, that's one thing and everyone would understand. But to check out for "mental issues" is bunk. Stop coddling this

It’s awesome how she came out totally cocky with a goat on her uniform, then says mental health at the time when her team needed her the most. Super brave and strong.
