I don't know why Democrats are so obsessed with getting Progressives out of their party. It's not like they've put up any real opposition to them. They don't use their voting block or political clout to force anything of material substance. They fall in line every time.

They think progressives lose elections, that the American people would prefer a Republican lite to a real alternative to the Republican agenda. Although if people want Republican lite, why wouldn't they just choose a Republican?
