The money is already allocated to pay them. That is not the issue.

Which proves that big government is not capable of handling anything. End it also does not answer the larger question. There are plenty of jobs available. How long is the government supposed to carry everyone?

Exactly who is the government carrying, other than Big Oil, Big Ag, Big Pharma, insurance companies, gun manufacturers, big food & chemical companies and defense contractors? No medical, college, higher min wage or college loan cancellation - hardly "carrying" people.

And so your solution to that is to make the government even bigger and carry even more people? I just want to understand is that what you’re saying?

It's not about the size of govt, but about its function. Before 1980's we had a fair enough balance between public & private investment, not perfect but working for the average worker. Since then a massive transfer of wealth has put the vast majority of wealth in the hands of 1%.

I was born in the ghetto. I had no advantages. I’m exhausted with people believing the world owes them something. When there were no jobs because of the pandemic I agreed with the moratorium. There are jobs now plenty of them give me a reason they can’t work.

Our government is not in place to take working peoples’ money and distribute it to those who don’t want to work. Jeez @marwilliamson , I use to respect you. Now you’re just a socialist shill!
